Wha-hooo for room to run! Canine Corrals is a non-profit organization designed to provide free fencing to dog owners - eliminating the need to "chain" a dog. Medical care, altering of unspayed/non-neutered animals, basic creature comforts, and education of animal needs are also provided. This blog is a chronicle of my attempts to get this project up and running.

Nay-sayers!
Had my first run in with those who think this is a useless idea! Big discussion on how once unchained the dogs will dig out or climb over. I explained the fencing method of how the fence is laid into the ground at a right angle to the vertical fence - if the dogs start to dig it will hit fencing laying flat on the ground! Next argument was that the dogs will climb up and over the fence......I guess it is possible.......I'm not sure......I will have to think on that one. Anyway - GRRRRRRR to the nay-sayers!

Working With My Team!
Spent today working on the Narrative for the non-profit status - what a legal maze! Good thing I have Rachel to help out - excellent supplier for words I can't come up with! Ha Ha! Nice to have good brain cells working - albeit a bit clumsy with the supplies! Eileen in the background is distracting us, but she has agreed to be on the Board also, so no complaints from me! I feel like we have a great group for the Board - nice representation from many sectors and committed people. My first official presentation will be this weekend - WISH ME LUCK!
